Sharing Activities Just Got Easier

New sharing features make it easy to invite friends to activities and spread the word about Joiyin through deep links and shareable codes.

We’ve rolled out sharing so you can invite someone to a specific activity without the old copy-paste dance.

What’s New

You can now share activities with anyone using:

  • Deep links — open straight to the activity in the app
  • Shareable codes — paste into a text or email
  • Native share sheets — on iOS and Android

Create something or spot an activity you like — send a link, even if they’re not on Joiyin yet. More shares mean more people see what’s happening nearby; friends land on the activity, not a generic signup wall.

How It Works

When you share an activity:

  1. The recipient gets a direct link to that specific activity
  2. If they have the app, it opens right there
  3. If they don’t, they land on a web page with details and a prompt to download
  4. Once they join, they can participate immediately

You’re sharing an activity, not building a follower list — that matches how Joiyin works elsewhere.
